Well, obviously it absolutely isn't... but - how nice would it be if during a tough day you had a resource that allowed you to connect back to yourself and away from the mind bogglers (unhelpful thoughts and unnecessary stressors). We can be pretty terrible when it comes to drawing on our greatest resource - ourselves. Mindfulness is your inherent and - often untapped skill, a way of calming your mind and centring your focus.

How often do you find yourself being engaged in general chit chat, on the receiving end of someone else's ramble,
all the while being on a complete and utter conversation vacation and remembering approximately zero of what was discussed?
This is a really easy example of how we experience mindlessness, rather than one mindedness.
